In the beautiful village of l'Islet-sur-Mer, between the church and the Maritime Museum, La Maison Dion has never undergone a destructive renovation. A rare exploit, members of the Dion and Bélanger family still live in this unique home, almost 200 years after it was built. The last 5 generations preserved furniture and artifacts with which your hosts tell the stories and the history of the Côte-du-Sud. See the old kitchen, the stone chimney, the apothecary where instruments from 3 generations of Doctors are preserved. Admire the staircase, a creation of a genial artisan. In the living room and the dining room, music, painting, toys and old dishes are on display. La Maison Dion won an award in 2007 for promoting the preservation of our heritage. Bilingual guide. Art gallery and shop.
